April’s passion lies in the surface of contemporary ceramic forms where imagery and mark making are explored and layered for a lyrical and graphic approach to clay. Rural roots, landscape, and memory permeate her work where intimate every day objects become conduits for personal reflection and narrative. A full time artist, April hosts events classes and special workshops sharing her love for craft and design from the historic Donald Schoolhouse property. Studio visits are by appointment.
